Marathon season is in full swing! 🏃‍♂️🎉 Running his very first marathon, our supporter Nick Coysh crossed the London Marathon finish line with an incredible time of 4:01:10, and has raised a brilliant £3,502 (and counting!) to support people facing homelessness across West Sussex. Join Turning Tides at Swim Serpentine 2025, a unique open-water swimming event in the heart of London’s Hyde Park. This incredible one-mile swim takes place in the iconic Serpentine Lake, offering participants a chance to achieve a personal goal while making a real difference in the fight against homelessness. Event Details 📅 Date: 20th September 2025 Location: The Serpentine, Hyde Park, London Distance: 1 mile Registration Fee: £30 Fundraising Target: £400 How to Join 1. A huge well done to everyone who was part of both A huge well done to everyone who was part of both the Brighton and Southampton Marathon weekends, helping to raise an amazing £2,871 for people experiencing homelessness in West Sussex. With warm sunshine and a strong breeze, it wasn’t an easy day. But that didn't stop Maxim from Grant Thornton and a team of students from the University of Southampton from crossing the finish lines. 🌞 We’re so proud of everything you’ve achieved – thank you for choosing us! 🙌
Today is Wellbeing Wednesday! 🌿 Each week at ou Today is Wellbeing Wednesday! 🌿 Each week at our Littlehampton Community Hub, we take time to focus on activities that support mental health and overall wellbeing. In a recent session, we embraced the calming benefits of mindful gardening. Together we planted 10 trays of seeds ready to be used in our garden and allotment. From cucumbers, courgettes and onions to herbs, tomatoes and sweetcorn - each tray is now being carefully looked after by the client who planted it, before being passed on to members of Grow Club, our gardening group, who will plant the seedlings in our garden and allotment. Once the produce is ready to harvest, Grow Club members will be able to take their homegrown fruit and veg home or use it in recipes during our Wellbeing Wednesday Cooking Sessions. 🍅🧅🥬 These sessions are open to all adults in the community. We hope to see you next week! 🌟
