Could you take on the challenge of sacrificing your bed for the night and fundraise to support people experiencing homelessness?
Each year we hold a Turning Tides Big SleepOut, inviting anyone who would like to support their local homeless charity to spend a night under the stars to fundraise to help those with nowhere to call home. Keep an eye on our website and social media for the announcement of our next Big SleepOut.
But did you know you can hold a DIY SleepOut anytime and anywhere? Maybe you’re looking for an activity to keep the kids occupied this summer. Or maybe you’re on the lookout for the perfect fundraiser to make a difference in your community. Whatever your reason and wherever you sleep, know that by giving up a roof over your head for the night to fundraise for Turning Tides you’ll be highlighting homelessness, showing your solidarity and giving hope to hundreds of people facing homelessness across West Sussex right now.

Wonderful – thank you for your support! Please download your Fundraising Pack.
By holding your sponsored SleepOut for Turning Tides you will help raise vital funds for local people with no safe place to call home. Our participants often feedback that the event allows them to gain deeper compassion for the people who have no choice but to sleep without a bed and roof each night, and gives them a greater sense of what to be thankful for. For our younger participants we have a range of fun activities to develop their understanding of homelessness. Click the links below to download the activities.
