Join Our Team as an In-House Trainer!

Are you passionate about creating impactful training programs? Do you have a knack for designing engaging learning experiences? Turning Tides is looking for a dynamic In-House Trainer to join our team and drive our employee training initiatives across West Sussex.

As an In-House Trainer at Turning Tides, this key role is pivotal in helping develop an internal training offering and will work closely all areas of the Charity. The priorities for this role will be to design and deliver engaging in-house training programmes using various formats. You will be required to deliver at least four days of training a month.

In addition, the role will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness and collating feedback for continuous improvement, creating and maintaining training materials on the intranet and promote clear communications relating to the training offer.

Compliance with organisational policies and fostering a culture of equality and diversity are also critical aspects of this role.

About You

  • 3-5 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering training programs, ideally in a charitable environment.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices related to training and development.
  • Proficient in using learning management systems (LMS), virtual training platforms, and multimedia authoring tools.
  • Self-starter with a proven track record of taking ideas from conception to delivery with minimal guidance.
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in PowerPoint.
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development.

22.5 hours per week, preferably on Wednesday and Thursday, with a third flexible day to be discussed during the interview.

£18,998 per annum (FTE £31,663)
